Every working parents challenge: What can I cook quickly that doesn't have a million artificial ingredients or worse, a billion calories...
Today's masterchef special is chicken fillets with philladelphia (cut open, stick in some philly, wrap in tin foil and stick in oven). Mashed potatoes and veggies.
I know, I know, not very exciting but I will get more creative as the week goes on, Italian meatballs tomorrow and curry the next day.
Sometimes I wish I could go back to my student diet of crisps, chocolate, beer and chip butties..... maybe when John's in bed we'll have a pig out :-)
When you've been pooped on, thrown up on, screamed at, woken at 3am and still have to go to an office and try not to cry into your coffee you're an overworked mammy.

Quack Quack
My little boy loves feeding the ducks. His little face lights up when he sees them, it's so cute.
Today there were swans, ducks and seagulls in our local pond and John had a big bag of stale bread. The tricky bit is to stop him from trying to jump into the pond to hug the birds.
It's tough working all week so I try to do something nice with him at the weekend. Before I had a baby I didn't realise kids were so easily amused, ducks, walks, playdates - anything really once we're out and about.
